Amazing staff, great food (we tried a bunch of dishes) and cosy feel inside. Highly recommend: Carrot cake French toast; eggs Benedict; Grilled breakfast naan; passion fruit mimosa (to die for!); skillet pancake; tomato onion tart. β¦I just listed everything we had to eat as βhighly recommendedβ. It really was all amazing! Great staff who were attentive and quick to serve us. Awesome music playlist (80-90βs pop!)

I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner has a special way of making you feel right at home, and that warmth extends to the entire staff. His assistants are all fantastic cooks, and no matter when you visit, the food is consistently top-notch. βWhile there are a few dishes that might not be my personal favorite, almost everything on the menu is excellent and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's a great spot for a delicious and inexpensive meal. Plus, they offer group cooking classes, which is a unique and fun way to learn some of their secrets!
I heard about their Pancake, so of course had to try for myself. Delish! I preferred the crispy edges and the top the best, but my husband had no problem non stop "tasting" the rest - haha Their entire menu looked fabulous! I've never in my life seen so many choices I wanted to try on one menu! Can't wait to go back and try each and every dish. We also loved sitting at the counter overlooking the kitchen. Everyone worked so smoothly non stop cooking. It was like a ballet. Very entertaining.
This beautiful space has delicious, freshly baked croissants. The service is amazing. Place is so clean and warm inside, I need to come back for breakfast soon. You can just tell it's going to be amazing. Enjoy
100% recommend The Common Park Slope!! We ordered the salmon eggs benedict and the crispy potato tart. Both were good, but the crispy potato tart was fantastic. The potatoes were perfect crispy all throughout the meal, and I spent the rest of the day thinking about how delicious it was. Staff was nice as well!
Whoever cooked my fish sandwich yesterday, compliments to the chef! It was perfectly cooked, flakey, juicy, crispy but not oily. Do I prefer a little more pickles or a sweet and sour something sauce? Yes. But the skill level for this price is tops and the service is warm and friendly as well. I will be telling everyone about this place
We had a lovely brunch today at The Common. The service was great and the food delicious and reasonably priced. We had the poached eggs, meatballs, and Lebaneae sauce skillet, and the Latin breakfast of pulled pork, avocado, etc over a cheese filled arepa with salad on thw side. We shared an apple, cream cheese danish croissant. We recommend The Common highly.
